Freizeitaktivitäten für syrische Flüchtlinge in Larisa

Die Stadtverwaltung von Larisa (Griechenland) hat eine ganze Reihe von Freizeitaktivitäten in den Bereichen Bildung, Kultur, Sport und Unterhaltung ins Leben gerufen, von denen nicht nur die Bewohner der Stadt, sondern auch die Flüchtlinge profitieren können, die im nahegelegenen Flüchtlingscamp von Koutsohero leben.

Darüber hinaus koordiniert sie unterschiedliche Maßnahmen, um die Flüchtlinge in der Region Thessalien zu unterstützen. Entstanden ist ein Netzwerk, das von der UNHCR-Vertretung in Griechenland, Nichtregierungsorganisationen, Sozialarbeiterinnen und Sozialarbeitern, Lehrerinnen und Lehrern des privaten und öffentlichen Sektors, lokalen Unternehmen, Freiwilligen und vielen anderen unterstützt wird.

Auch ich bin Teil dieses Netzwerks und arbeite seit Februar 2017 als ehrenamtlicher Fotograf. Ich habe es mir zur Aufgabe gemacht, den Alltag der Flüchtlinge in Larisa – der Stadt, in der ich lebe – zu fotografieren.

01-04-2017. Syrian women from the Euthimiopoulou camp, visited the cultural centre of Kilada vilage, 15 km away from Larisa city. They met with the women from the vilage, exchanged views and tasted traditional Syrian and Greek food.Von Vaggelis Kousioras

25-07-2017. A group of volunteers from Greece and France, dressed as clowns, visited the Euthimiopoulou camp. The children sang, danced, played games and laughed a lot. The event closed with a beautiful theatrical performance. Von Vaggelis Kousioras
