Radikalisierung, Ausgrenzung und Degeneration der Sozialstruktur sind wichtige Themen, um den Islam der Gegenwart in Frankreich zu dokumentieren – aber auch Bildung, Stärkung der Position und interreligiöse Annäherung. In diesem äußerst komplexen Bereich ist es von höchster Bedeutung, herauszufinden, was die einzelnen Akteure miteinander verbindet. Dies mit Bedacht zu präsentieren, wird nicht nur das Verständnis für konfliktbehaftetes Verhalten verbessern, sondern auch dafür, wie man dieses mithilfe von wirksamen Maßnahmen verhindert, um eine multikulturelle Koexistenz zu fördern. Dieses Projekt zeigt anhand von unterschiedlichen Medien viele verschiedene Gesichter dieser Verbindungen.
